Within 6 months we KNEW this was a pandemic of the obese. We KNEW that having poor health, being fat, and being lazy are ALL leading indicators of having a horrible time re: Covid.

The media has still, over 2 years later, still not called it what it is. They still won’t say “hey, fatass, put down the McDonald’s and go for a run” instead it’s “oh muh gawd it attacks blacks!” Or “oh muh gawwwwd it’s a pandemic of the unvaccinated”

Hey, 280 lady! If you get this shot it’ll protect you but keep double fisting bear claws every morning!

Don’t worry dude that uses a tent as a shirt, if you wear this cloth mask it’ll protect you from Covid! Nah man, you don’t need to lose weight, it’s perfectly normal for animals to run in fear as an earthquake approaches them.

Their problem wasn't virus ignorance.

Their problem was that they self righteously didn't give a rat's frick about ANY variable other than the virus. Left all alone, these fricking nut jobs would have made Stalin look like Big Bird if they thought it would "stop the virus".

And that's fine. What's not fine is the authoritarian and arrogant way in which "scientists" and their cheerleaders have proceeded with incomplete and inaccurate information.

From the beginning, it should have been "We know this is dangerous for old and sick people; those in that category need to stay home when possible. Beyond that, we're working on it because right now we simply don't know"
