I don’t know about first time, first time.
But the first time my wife and I had sex to officially try for baby #2, she got pregnant. I was hoping for a few months of nonstop sex, but nope, just the once. She had weird back pain that night and felt off for a few weeks. Morning sickness started soon after and we went two months without it until she started feeling better.

The same thing happened to my wife and I when we started “trying” for kids. She had been on birth control for about 7 years. She came off of it on Jan 31. The date of conception for baby number one was feb 1. Back on BC for another 2 years and the same thing happened with baby number 2.
Weird.
