i wont even post what my house is worth because when i hear it out loud it sounds like science fiction

we're seriously considering some major downsizing and investing the windfall.

I bought mine after the storm from some older people that didn't want to repair it and right before the market increased. I would have been happy with the projected after repaired value at the time but now I am looking at over a 260% return if I sell it and that is not counting any value added to my guesthouse that I am also remodeling. March will be one year since I purchased it. Just got really lucky all around with the storm and timing.

The only issue I am worried about if I do sell it is that I will be in a price point where homes in LC dont move very fast.
