The Hate for Saban

Listen, I'm just as much of an LSU fan as the next guy. When people curse and bad mouth Saban just because he went to Alabama, it makes my skin crawl. Do you guys know what he did for this program? He accomplished everything he wanted to here and wanted to try his hand at the pros. He realized that wasn't for him and wanted to come back to the college game. What is wrong with that? Yeah, it sucks that he went to the SEC, but guess what, that's the way the business works. And if you ask me, our replacement has been pretty damn good.

lbptiger, Saban is the greatest coach we've ever had, and likely ever WILL have, here at LSU!

I would generally agree with you, but: (1) Remember the timing of the announcement (As LSU is about to kickoff their bowl game); and (2) Trying to take some credit for LSU's play during the game (I recruited those guys...).
He could have had UA wait to announce, and stayed silent on the latter.

Nobody is questioning what he did for the program OR his right to leave.
IT IS THE WAY HE DID IT that makies him a money grubbing douchbag. Then he comes back, not only to the SEC, but to the frickin' SEC West. He deserves everything he's gonna get on November 8th. The man (and I use the term loosely) has not one ounce of loyalty, or honor, in his gold plated body.

Attention please. Nick Saban does not coach at LSU. He is the head coach of the University of Alabama. We LSU fans don't give a flyin rats arse about Saban so would you please drop the subject and suck some Testicles!!!!
