...has there been a moment in his tenure where you truly hoped he'd be fired as our coach? For me it was last year after we lost to Kentucky, a team we beat 49-0 the year prior. 49-0, people! That is inexcusable; I don't care if we did go on and win the national championship. He lost a lot of cool points in my eyes that day in Lexington. ( A similar turnaround occurred in the Arizona State/Nebraska series, where, in 95, Nebraska beat the Sun Devils, 77-28. The following year, Arizona State won 19-0. By the end of the season, Tom Osborne, he of the 3 national championships, was voted out as coach.)

STFU...you are an idiot if you really thought he should be fired after that game. College football has gotten so much more competative, and UK was actually a legitimitly competative team. After getting beat up and many players getting pulled out because of injuries during the game it happened...It happenes to the best of them. Every year is different and can't go off of the 49 - 0

just when I didn't think you could become a bigger idiot.

NU and Osborne won the MNC again in 1997. He voluntarily retired at the top of his game after the 1997 season, not 1996.

what an idiot you are. Would you propose hiring a coach on a game by game basis? Name one coach who has never lost a game where they were favored.

No, there has not been a time when I wanted him fired.

I did DURING the 2006 Florida game, but after I calmed down I realized that it was less to do with him and more to do with certain players not having thier head in the game.

Before this thread is over someone will say:

A) when Saban quit the Dolphins but had yet been announced at Bama.

B) today. Probably because he let "the number one linesman" Sentimore, go to Bama without extending an offer.

I know I read in some threads either last night or this morning that this dipshit had been banned. I guess it was too good to be true.

FAIL!!

#1 Oklahoma lost to #2 Miami in the 1988 Orange Bowl.

The next year (1989) he quit because Oklahoma was put on probation for cheating.

I nominate this as the stupidest thing ever said on the rant. I won't attempt to lobby for it, as I feel it stands on it's own.
