I mean Civil War and it’s not a question. Especially between those listed

The fact that limbs were sawed off with no anesthetic in the Civil War puts it near the top. At least morphine was available by the time WW1 rolled around.

Greater numbers lost their lives in non combat situations in the Civil War.
WW1 because of trench warfare.
