I'm thinking LSU wins by 8-10 points.

Percy gets his, but LSU offense keeps LSU a step ahead.

LSU scored 26 on Auburns defense, and Auburn's defense >> Florida's defense.

With an extra week to prepare, the LSU defense will be improved. The offense has been clicking, and should have another strong performance. So here's how it will go...

1st quarter:
Tigers try to establish the run. UF stacks the line to stop it, but Lee and Lafell burn them a couple of times. Tigers pressure Tebow, neutralizing him fairly well, but Harvin breaks one big play. It doesn't go for a TD, though. 1st quarter score: LSU 7, Florida 3

2nd quarter:
Tiger offense continues to mix it up and is winning the battle in the trenches. Scott starts to find more room as Florida is forced to spread the defense somewhat to stop Lafell and Byrd. Defense continues its relentless assault on Tebow, but he gets the better of us on a big pass play. Halftime score: LSU 17, Florida 10

3rd quarter:
More of the same, but Tiger defense doesn't allow any big plays. Third quarter score: LSU 24, Florida 10

4th quarter:
A big punt return for a TD gets the Gators right back in it, but a clutch drive by the Tiger offense extends the lead back to two scores. Gators can't get any closer, and turn it over on downs when forced to go for it on 4th and long deep in their own territory late in the game, leading to an insurance TD by Scott. Gators add a meaningless score in the final minute. Final score: LSU 34, Florida 24

"Topless" is correct. We will score on their defense and score quite a bit. It's our defense that worries me and I see it being a high scoring shootout.

UF - 38
LSU - 34

I will go

LSU - 27
Fla - 14

But it could easily be a swap.

I hope to God I'm wrong about that, though. I just don't want to get myself too set up for a big letdown, as I already had this game penciled in as a loss before the season started and given the fact that this is our most "loseable" game all year ... meaning that we can lose this game, win out the rest of the way and still achieve all of the goals that we had set for ourselves before the season (SEC title and national championship game appearance).

But I'll be there in Gainesville cheering the Tigahs on and undoubtedly will still take the loss hard if we don't win even though I'm prepping myself so that I don't get depressed for a week if we do lose.

Florida's a damn good team, don't fool yourselves by their mediocre performances this year so far. They've got talent across the board and more "quick strike" potential than any team in the conference. However, their glaring weakness lies in their coaching, especially at the OC position ... I give a difinitive edge to LSU there. Florida's offense, however, is not as bad as it has looked this year, and the same can be said about LSU's defense.

Miles HAS NEVER LOST with more than one week to prepare (except Katrina TN game, let's not count that one).

You won't recognize the D secondary and CS gets 150...
