I visited with several Auburn Football coaches at the Houma Airport yesterday who were there doing some recruiting in the area but would not talk about who their targets were....

My guess Jamein Buxton. Dt from gray that goes to thibodaux. That’s Trovon Reed back yard. He all over the bayou parish. DB coach for auburn

Reed didn’t do shite on the field but he’s good at handing out money to recruits

How do you know what he’s good at?
Posted on 1/15/22 at 10:02 am to GeauxLSU4
My guess would be he did. See he played at Bourgeois in 19 as a freshman

Trovon reed is a likeable person and does a lot for the community down here. Recruiting, everyone is dropping bags. Get over it. trovon is good at what he does because guys like him. One of the nicest people you ever meet.

quote:come on man lol he played a lil while in the league even had a couple pick or two for the chargers I think.

Auburn WR coach was like family to him, after his mom had passed, back when he committed in 2010. It’s no surprise he’s back at auburn and it’s no surprise he’s looking in LA for talent.
You seem to have strong opinions on arcement too so obviously you’re plugged in to Thibodaux some kind of way.
I played with Trovon and he’s as good a dude as there is. lot of talented players in that area that never gets looks from DI programs and he probably knows that. They end up just going to nicholls. He will try to help out his hometown as anyone would

I think trovon reed just helps with recruiting on campus.
He is killing it though.
Hopefully faulk steps back into that role or they get someone similar.

Trovon provides a presence that Auburn has needed. He has selflessly given endless hours of his time to help underprivileged kids who would have been unable to otherwise access opportunities. And he’s done so bc he genuinely cares, not bc he wanted anything in return. Trovon is a true humanitarian and Auburn is so proud to welcome him back home!

Fairly pedestrian college career, but did make the Chargers roster in 2016.

Carnell Williams, Trovon Reed, Zac Etherdige, Austin Davis, Jeff Schmedding and maybe even Harsin was there too, he was outside on the phone now that I just saw hs picture. They were about to leave when we landed

He should've played CB from the jump. They wasted him at WR for 4 years, started the year they went to the National Championship game. Played 6 years in the NFL. Bounced around a lot, but that's a pretty damn good run. He was one of the best high school players I've seen.

There’s another big DT at Terrebonne. Think he’s a junior.

Well nothing against Trovon, but I hope LSU keeps the best players in state at home!
