As others have stated, pre-soak in vinegar. Then wash with a detergent like Rockin Green or some other brand of active wear detergent. There are several good ones that you can find on Amazon. Just search active wear detergent. I do this for my jiu jitsu clothes, and they can get extremely funky if not washed properly.

I don’t know. I only do it when I smell like arse while working out. Probably once a year. Dialute the mix with water. All you’re tryin to accomplish is breaking down the stank particles.

Use Clorox laundry sanitizer. That stuff gets rid of any funk.
