yes, but it is falling rapidly. While it is still spreading, it is spreading at a much lower rate daily and we will be in the negative withing a week.

Nola metro has been well below 1 for the last week according to that site FWIW. Seems to makes sense with what I have personally experienced.

I knew a TON of people who caught it the week leading up to Christmas thru the week after NY. Currently I only know a handful of people.

My personal opinion is all of the holiday parties increased the transmission rate but also decreased the total amount of time of the surge. Basically the surge was steeper but tighter than it otherwise would’ve been.
