in his announcement that he’s leaving Kentucky to enter the draft. Calls both schools “great institutions”, thanks Coach O and both staffs, and says it was an “honor and a privilege” to represent both schools.

Sorry if Germans.

Another reminder that we need a drug policy and testing/enforcement procedures that are more on par with other schools.

I wish him well in the league.

I get the feeling that it won’t change. Woody didn’t fix it. I haven’t heard of any movement in compliance even though in every other area it seems folks are being shipped out left and right.

The University President should grab this drug policy buy the tail and throw it out the window. This 2022 not 1982 the administration acts like Pot is Meth.

Here come all of the squares to tell you that they shouldn't break the rules. I bet every single one of them has gone over the speed limit.

I'm not allowed the smoke pot and do my job. Pathetic making excuses for people with no self control. If your ultimate goal is the nfl and getting high is worth screwing that up. Looks like a good way to weed out idiots with no priority system.

I'm sorry it's the most valuable part of your life and you want it to be ok for these students too. Downvote away.

Personal responsibility exists.

and if one of those players high on weed would hit one of your family members with their car or truck you would be screaming for them to be arrested.

What does this have to do with someone smoking it in the privacy of their home?

You must have never smoked pot in your life.

But everyone else in the SEC is allowed to. Now do you see the difference?

If everyone at your job received a bonus and you didn't would you make excuses for bad policy then?

It’s called responsibility and maturity. If you know something is “illegal”, “against the rules”, etc. yet you willingly choose to break the rules, them OWN IT. Stop being soft and blaming the rules for your own stupid decisions. A MAJORITY of LSU players don’t have issues with marijuana so it’s not like they don’t have a choice.

Yes, I break the law every day in some way or another but if I get caught I won’t blame the law for my mistake. It was MY decision to break the law and it will be MY punishment, fine, etc. to deal with.

Bad analogy, simple answer is weed is not legal and should be banned.

One day weed will be legal across the country like alcohol and cigarettes, policies will different, all will adapt, and the next bad drug will be discussed for legalization

This is what we do as a society now asking for anything we want to be available.

Want to not work then ask the government for money to stay home
Want to get high on lunch break then ask for legalization of weed
Don't want the responsibility of raising a child then kill the baby
Too lazy to get out and vote then ask for mail in ballots

Watch what you ask for

If you think week is a ‘bad drug’, then let me know so I can also know to not take anything else from your post seriously

I agree that I'm disappointed that nothing has happened there but I'm not sure Woody could make a move if he wanted to.

Do you think it would look good to start replacing compliance members with our football and basketball investigations?

Maybe I'm being ignorantly optimistic but I hope that it still happens just later on when some smoke clears

Orrrrrrrrrr

Players could take a break from the NONADDICTIVE illegal substance while on scholarship.

I know. A novel concept to expect a modicum of self-discipline. I mean...the nerve of a school to enforce A CLEARLY SPELLED OUT policy on scholarship student athletes.

For some people, weed is actually terrible. If they have an addictive personality and end up searching for other "high" alternatives.

Not a one size fits all argument

The compliance department needs an adjustment.

I wish him the best of luck in the League.
