I had alpha. Lost of taste and smell and still partied on the beach all week. I've been surrounded by people with alpha, delta and omicron. Never tested positive after my first infection. Not vaxxed.
The point is, people have different experience with this virus and there is not a one size fits all approach to this virus.

I had Covid 3 weeks ago. Lasted 36 hours and I Smoked some of the best ribs I’ve ever done while sipping a couple beers with a cough and itchy throat. Clearly being healthy and not getting vaxxed works just as well
