YES. Put a little bit of this with clear or dark rum over ice makes for a nice summer drink. Sometime I like to put a little bit with some bourbon. Makes for a quick old fashion.

I love bayou rum. I have yet to try another Louisiana brand of hard liquor that I would want to stock my bar with for regular at home consumption. I tried some whiskeys last weekend from Sugarfield in Gonzales, and they were pretty decent, but I probably wouldn't pick that over my Basil Hayden's as an every day bourbon-style whiskey.

weird request, but most of the stuff from 73 distilling is pretty top notch. Was pleasantly surprised by bywater bourbon, but it has a unique flavor...def not something to have on hand as a traditional mixer or for someone looking for a traditional bourbon. The gentilly gins are very good. Other than that I'd say Bayou rum, and J T meleck vodka

Rouse's on Airline in Metairie has all the Three Roll Rums in a clearance section. Also, Bolden Vodka.

I wouldn't entirely stock my bar with LA booze, but I try to use local stuff where applicable. For instance Bayou Satsuma is a damn fine dessert drink or mixer so I always try to keep some in stock. I've had other barrel aged rums from around the state and have enjoyed those too. I've recently started getting into gin and have been exclusively buying LA Gin. Gentilly Gin and Euphrosine are both good. Don't know if it's actually still made locally but Peychauds bitters are always in stock at my bar. Not exactly local but I'll sometimes buy sazerac rye to make the titular drink.

JT Meleck Rice Vodka....Pretty much the only vodka the wife and I have bought for a few years now, seriously it's that good. And it's pretty cheap at around $23 give or take
JT Meleck Rice Whiskey...Limited supply of whiskey just came out around Thanksgiving. It's very good and opening up better with a little air in it. Good level of char, without being too much. About $48

OMFW-Original Mississippi Floated Whiskey....Distilled & barreled in Tennessee, floated down Miss River (similar sloshing theory to Jefferson's Ocean) and bottled in Baton Rouge at Three Roll I believe. About $38

Sazerac Rye....Best bang for buck on ryes to make an old fashioned with. About $22

Bayou Rum has several good rum offerings. The Mardi Gras Rum tastes like bread pudding, but it is a little pricey at about $70

Haven't had much else
