A/V Tech New Orleans Area

Anyone know of someone who specializes in TV installation and integrating with ceiling mounted speakers?
Looking at buying a new TV and all the wires are run behind the wall over to a location seperate from the TV where they exit to a receiver. I'm thinking the receiver may be redundant? Either way I need some assistance in getting everything installed and integrated. May look at updating the ceiling speakers as they are probably 15yrs old at this point.

You have a budget?
Not precisely. Depends to what extent I want to go. I absolutely need some help getting the existing wiring organized and linking the new tv to the ceiling speakers.
I think someone who knows what they are doing would be able to do it within an hour or two. What's an A/V tech charge for 2 hrs of service?

Are you not looking to purchase a TV and receiver too ? Figure that into the budget too.
How many speakers do you have ?

TV Purchase will be somewhere around $1,500 +/- $300
I have a receiver already but not sure if I need to keep it. I'm assuming if I have one then I might as well use it if there is benefit to doing so.
I already have speakers in the ceiling that came with the house when I bought it. House was built in 2009 so I'm assuming they are original to house. If there is a discernible difference then I may want to tack on another $500 to put in new ceiling speakers. There's 6 in total I believe.

Speakers should be fine, depending on how old your receiver is you will probably want to upgrade there. Are the speakers arranged in a surround sound configuration or do you just have pairs randomly through the house ?

I'd be looking to hire when the time comes if you have any recs.

The receiver location is likely not redundant, just remotely located. I have my entire system in a data cabinet in my laundry room, and only my TV and speakers are in the living room.
I'd be happy to take a look at it. We are out of Prairieville, but we do cover the NOLA area.

Thanks for advising. Will give you a ring when I get it together.
The wires run out of an adjacent wall currently (TV mounted over fireplace) and into a media center. The wires are unorganized and it's a clusterfrick and am not sure what purpose each wire serves.

That receiver should be fine for now. Will also want a sub and a way to control everything.
