Season of the Risen announced in Light in the Darkness ViDoc but no other details given...
Season of the Risen Launch Trailer
Season Pass Changes (TWAB 2/17/22)
High-stat Seasonal armor has been reintroduced.
Individual pieces are awarded between ranks 57 and 87.
Legendary Engrams have been replaced with focused Umbral Engrams.
Five in total. Each focused to a different armor piece (arms, legs, chest, class, and head).
All Umbral Engrams are tier 2.
The Season Pass emblem has been removed, but we have introduced a Season Pass Sparrow.
The Season Pass scrounger bonuses (bonuses which increased Seasonal weapon/armor drop chances in ritual activities) have been overhauled.
The weapon scrounger bonuses are no longer separated by weapon type or ritual activity. They now apply to both Season Pass Legendary weapons and all activities at once.
Two weapon scrounger bonuses instead of six.
The first bonus grants the player a small chance to receive the weapons from ritual activities. The second bonus gives an improved chance.
Total drop chance is unchanged from previous Seasons.
The armor scrounger bonuses are no longer separated by ritual activity. It now applies to all activities at once.
One armor scrounger bonus instead of three.
Like the weapon, the total drop chance for each armor piece is unchanged.
Aside from the emblem, no items have been removed from the Season Pass, only added.
A number of rewards such as Glimmer and Legendary Shards have been consolidated to make room for high-stat armor.
A small amount of Upgrade Modules have been added.
The order some rewards are acquired has been tuned to accommodate the above changes.

Hype starting to build for sure

I’m highly anticipating void 3.0
As a former top tree tether main, I’m hoping the new aspects, super makes this build viable endgame
Right now I am running infinite knife builds with revenant and middle tree solar.
I play all three classes and can safely say Warlocks are WAY OP in PVE - basically cheesemode on a fire team

Overall, Destiny is in a great place. I'm really looking forward to Witch Queen after this year. Beyond Light had a really rough launch with sunsetting and content hitting the Vault, but Bungie finished strong. I am a little concerned with how vaulting content will be handled going forward. I'm not a fan of an entire year of content and gear disappearing. I would prefer a rolling 12 month period.
All three classes are viable in most PvE with a few standouts in endgame content. With the right build, each class has at least two endgame subclasses. I've had a lot of fun with the subclass and exotic synergies introduced this year too.
At this point, I have no issues playing or preordering Destiny content. For the last four years, it's the only game I've played consistently. While I don't agree with everything Bungie has done, I think they have an idea they're actually starting to execute.
I've made a handful of good friends through Destiny. As long as they want to keep playing, I'll keep playing.

I guess I’m in since you already got me hooked over the last two months.

Would be awesome to get some Bungie IDs and have a raid night or something ahead of Witch Queen.

So did anyone see the incoming orb generation nerf for witch queen?

Yeah, that's the info I'll be dumping into the third post. Thanks for the reminder.
I'm withholding judgement until I understand the full system.

Saw that. Going to be interesting.
The armor element change is greatly needed.

Im going to wait and see. If the campaign has 'do a bunch of busywork on old planets to progress' quest, I'm out.
I played through the entirety of the first and 2nd game with my wife - great memories - and that was what ultimately caused her to lose interest, bungie really started to rely on chores to progress the story. After a while i absolutely hated it too.
I'd like a campaign where you just play missions rather than do chores in the open world to progress.
Edit: lmao at the time wasted site, im in the top 13% apparently. Definitely got my moneys worth, but its been a long time since i logged in.
