What is the vaccine mandate push really about? This is what I can’t truly understand.

I have my opinions for sure and I consider myself someone who stays up to date on the long game and current events of getting there.
I’m 42 years old and truly believe that getting the vaccine proposes a bigger threat to my health than getting covid. I had covid back in November of 2020 and again 2 weeks ago with this new variant. First time around I had a metallic taste in my mouth for about a week and slight cold symptoms. Second time around felt like I had a bad cold. Drank hot toddy’s and took DayQuil.
I truly believe more people under 50 with no medical issues and not 300 pounds have died from the jab than actual covid
My wife was a critical care icu nurse for 18 months before getting fired for not taking the jab and saw the worst of the worst and still had zero fear of this virus.
So now he cdc has admitted that Omicron is responsible for over 95 percent of cases. Admits that symptoms are much milder. Admits that the vaccine doesn’t protect against it.
So if that’s the case….why the push still??? What’s the end game?
My opinion is that covid will disappear when they get their voting rights bill passed.
Or is it bigger than even that? New world order stuff?

But I do consider my wife to be pretty damn knowledgeable having treated the actual patients for 18 months hands on

It’s simple. It’s standard practice communism tactics. They need to strip away your feelings of personal liberty and make you scared. You are much more likely to give up liberties if you are scared and are brainwashed to think that the government is the only outlet for safety. They do this by also trying to separate us into groups and make us hate the “others.” Black/White, Rep/Dem, Vax/Unvax etc.

Nice! Where'd she get her degree in infectious disease? Does she have any studies about covid you could link for the rest of us? I'm sure everyone would love to read them.

If they can force us to put things in our body for the "greater good" they can then force us to do anything. Our body is the most sacred thing we posses and do with what we think is best. It is our choice what we put into our body.
What can't the govt do to us if they have the authority to force on us a genetic therapy that is unproven, untested, and with no repercussions or liability for the ones that created it. Which means no protections for us if things go south in our health.
The goal of control over the people becomes more evident with the Omicron which is not as dangerous and the vax or prior covid infection is not protecting people from Omicron.

Stay strong, Patriot! To answer your question:
Control through fear. This entire mandate is to condition you to do what they say or face serious consequences. If you don't fear the virus, then fear of losing your job, fear of being excluded from public venues, etc.

. You married well! Sorry that your wife lost her job. But I admire her immensely for not letting herself be pushed around.

Hey dummy, I mean LSUconvert....do you know how many nurses and medical staff have refused to take the vaccine. Even many in the CDC, FDA, NIH haven't been vax'd.
Nurses and docs worked all thru 2020 and much of 2021 without a vax and did just fine. If they don't want to take it, leave them alone.

It is the money. Under the COVID relief act, hospitals can get a 20% add-on to the patient bill through Medicare.
You couple that with firing unvaccinated staff and that's how hospitals get overwhelmed by a flu-like virus.

She got her degree in hard knocks working on patients at the busiest hospital in the Atlanta area with the most beds. Sorry if the truth doesn’t fit the narrative you want. But real numbers don’t lie. She can break down by percentage the patients age, health, etc all from her experience
