I didn't scroll much, but... If an incoming athlete gets a large enough NIL, does he have the option of NOT being counted in the 25-32 limit IF he pays his own way?

It did come up in the thread. As far as I know, technically yes - a school can theoretically skirt signing/scholarship limits if a talented player is willing to pay their own way. NIL is not considered financial aid since it doesn’t come from the university.

Practically speaking, I don’t think it’s very likely for several reasons I pointed out earlier in the thread.
