Had to change transmission on 2015 recently. Mechanic said it’s been pretty common in GMC from this time frame. Happened at about 85,000 miles. “Only” $3000 and change and a 3 year warranty from my guy, so not too painful.

How soon would it have had to happen to be considered "too painful"?
