Fox On The Run is such a great song.

Sweet is great. Very underrated band. That scene in Dazed and Confused where they are driving down the road with Fox on the Run playing is brilliant.

I saw Sweet, UFO and Cheap Trick on the same bill in late ‘70s. To me they are much more glam than hair.

I think you can add Slade and Small Faces to the ranks of underrated / under appreciated bands.

Surprised that Love Is Like Oxygen hasn't been mentioned yet.
I'm guessing that they thought that the choppers would cancel out the boots/outfits. They were wrong.

Andy is the only one left. He still tours as "Andy Scott's Sweet" mostly in Europe and the UK.

The lead singer's health story is kinda odd.

Yeah. Brian Connolly. Really good singer, I always thought.
There's a story of him showing up for a Sweet reunion, and the others couldn't believe how horrible he looked. Years of alcoholism.
He and Andy Scott had some issues over the band name (as usual) after the breakup. They agreed to use their names to differentiate their groups. Thus, "Andy Scott's Sweet", "Brian Connolly's Sweet", and later "Steve Priest's Sweet".

Here's a VIDEO from a press conference at that reunion.
Very sad watching him shake and looking like warmed over shite.
