It’s like Brian Kelly knows how to build a staff or something

That in no way means his hires are immune to criticism. He hired Brian Van Gorder who was terrible and had to be fired. Every hire should be looked at critically. The "he's done it in the past is enough" is the kind of thinking that get's you Orgeron hiring Pelini.

1 hire out how many?
He’s been a coach for 31 years
Even if he made 5 bad hires his track record is damn good

Where would Kelly be without you keeping him honest.

You think that's how we ended up with the string of bad hires??? Because people thought O hired good coaches before so he will do it again?

Well sure, but by the same token the criticism has to be looked at according to who is making it. If it is just some poster on a message board, it is unlikely to be given much weight.

It should be looked at critically but a bunch of couch coaches on an internet board aren’t exactly the most qualified to do so. The fact that you don’t understand the criteria behind the selection doesn’t mean Kelly doesn’t have good reasons for the coaches he has chosen. If he just made all the obvious choices, we could have kept O. In hindsight some choices may not work out, but none of us can know that now.

No clue why teams kept hiring Van Gorder. He’s a garbage coach haha

Okay! Thanks for weighting in! Certainly wouldn't want anyone to catch a positive vibe about anything going on with the football program during an exciting time for the fan base.
All we can be sure of is CBK has done it in the past.
