Very talented kid. Do not like what I’m hearing in that interview from him. Not just that he doesn’t seem to be into lsu, that part is understandable because not every kid wants to come here but it sounds like he’s just looking for an early payday instead of who’s gonna develop him the best for the pros where he’d make real money

Yall do realize if he's signed already and just not announced or filled out financial aid paperwork (as its been widely reported) that LSU can not contact him. This is Leigh/Cregg 2.0...

I just don’t understand the discussion here at all. Do people really think that Kelly, Wilson and Polian are clueless when it comes to recruiting and player assessment? It’s absurd to think they just dropped the ball on a 5-star recruit because they don’t know what they are doing. I think Perkins saying that Kelly called and he wasn’t available tells us all we really need to know about LSU’s chances with him. He had relationships formed over 2+ years with the staffs at A&M, Texas, Bama, etc. It seems it was too late to jump into the game and he made his lack of interest clear. I don’t care how many ties he had to LSU. Those don’t seem to have been a primary motivator for him.
