You can't look at it in terms of individual games. This is a macro issue (like making the playoffs). The playoffs aren't eliminating CV19 (like you said). They're preventing resource strain. SGA or none, it ain't happening for OKC.

Which would be less severe if they weren’t running off qualified workers - no?

My point is, some of the strain is related to the mandate etc..

You seem to be saying that you don’t agree with the mandate (or other restrictions), but that those aspects don’t matter.

I argue that they do matter.

No.

The goal isn't to prevent resource strain. The goal is to prevent significant strain that would significantly impact healthcare in the country.

This really hasn't happened and certainly hasn't happened for significant periods of time. Delta came and went and nobody (except you) is expecting Omicron to have a larger impact than Delta.
