But acute care shortages happen all the time.
Sure, but we know they occur when a CV19 wave happens and our CV19 policy is being built around that issue specifically.
Just because CV19 is one cause of this issue doesn't mean other things can't cause it, too. But we have policies for those instances already.

Busted.
But the point still stands. How can you bitch about the MSM not covering something if you're not monitoring the MSM?
Rachel Maddow could be talking about it every night on her show, but I wouldn't know because I don't even get MSNBC.

This isn’t a coherent argument and should be ignored.

You’re arguing because the government is going to do something crazy we should expect the government to do something crazy and enjoy it.
That’s the sum of your argument.

No I'm saying because the government will do something, we can discuss what they do and what they should do instead.
I'm just assuming that the government is going to act b/c the last hope for a decreased fedgov died with the Trump admin.
You're in the "libertarians are idiots" camp but are trying to make very libertarian arguments right now.

That is why whether vaccinated or not, everyone I know (dozens) have the same level of severity with Omicron. They are well in 2-3 days.
It sure screwed up a lot of family Christmas Day gatherings in Louisiana but that is all

Policy is not being made on the basis of a lack of acknowledgement of natural T cell immunity. It’s being made for other beaurocratic reasons, usually scientifically irrelevant ones.
Policy that is made “for other beuaurocratic reasons” is policy that is ignoring T cell immunity.
We are saying the same thing, you are just scared to agree with us. Don’t worry you won’t start wearing a Viking hat and break into the capital if you agree
Thanks for the link by the way.

Everything is getting better. Treatment, how they handle patients, etc.
While I agree to an extent, the term “better” is highly subjective. I gave you a list of things that suggest otherwise.
Nonetheless, things seem more orderly from a processing standpoint, and that certainly is less chaotic. As such, that aspect is better imho.

But it's still a numbers game. When a wave comes, medical resources are at risk for a short period of time until it passes.
So how does firing a portion of your work force help matters?
Or driving some into early retirement?
Or alienating local staff by paying “traveling” medical staff exorbitant wages (ironically...in many / most instances, to cover for the staff that has been driven off)?
I know...”right wing talking points,” aka (at least in this case) facts.
I would argue that they are all related.
Just my .02.

I have some friends who had it reporting back. Like with all CV19 it's varied. Some have a mild 2nd infection, some have a cold 2nd infection. Some have a flu-like response (I don't think infected prior but vaccinated). It's all over the map and my friend group is unlikely to face severe responses.

My only point was that it’s a myth that people who understand T and B cell immunity genuinely don’t believe that natural infection induces them robustly.
They do believe it secretly.
They are just behaving like someone who doesn’t.

That's not a part of this discussion and I don't agree with it, anyway.

It's "fear porn" because it's not a part of this discussion and I don't even think anyone who has posted in this thread agrees with those policies.
Those comments have no merit in this discussion and are just regurgitating talking points for no reason within this thread.

This is a flatly dishonest post.

Well I'll save the googling for later, but if I'm wrong I apologize.
