Got the new Srixon Zx4s. Love them

Ran into a deal I couldn’t pass up so I jumped on them even though I didn’t techinally get fitted for them. 13.7 handicap currently that just recently started playing, and was using a pair of Adam’s I bought in 2009
These Zx4s feel like heaven
Still are clearly game improvement but look far more like players irons from the top. The 7 iron consistently went about 162 carry for me. Which is considerably further than before
Maybe after a year or so I can improve and maybe move to their other line of ZXs

Srixon is the only club company that didn’t fire unvaxxed employees. Congrats on owning clubs from a bunch of Marxists

I guess he is saying the same number goes further because they just take loft out

What matters is which club has a tighter dispersion when it goes 160. And these srixons were tight at 160 for me

Problem is a large gap at the shorter clubs.

Basic golf physics dictate the lower lofted club will have a looser dispertion pattern. Its why we all hit our 9 irons straighter than our drivers.
Youre prolly the guy that hits his 9 iron 165 but his gap wedge 85 yards

Because when I laser my distance and I get a number, I never think of that shot as being with 38 degrees of loft or should I hit 34 degrees of loft.
I laser my distance and say "Meh, that's about a 7i with these clubs" then I shank it into the woods.
