He’s going to be such a good coach, as long as we are patient. He is getting each and every bit out of the players he has.

I appreciate the effort, but shouldn’t we be wanting to tank..

It MIGHT be smart to tank. BUT winning is addictive. When a winning streak happens people can't help but ride the wave and be happy. Especially when you're winning because of people like Ingram, Hart, and Herb continually growing during the season.

I think BI and some of the young players need to learn how to win. I understand sucking in order to get a better player in the draft but at some point these guys need to learn how to play in important games. That experience is just as important as tanking.

The year the Pels won AD in the lottery people here went apeshit over a late season win over Golden State who was actively tanking at the time to keep a top 7 protected pick. If the Pels hadn't won that game they wouldn't have landed AD and would have been trying to rebuild around Eric Gordon and Thomas Robinson.

Is the 1st pick better than the 12th pick? Of course, but the path to the 1st pick isn't nearly as straight forward as the pro tanking crowd likes to think it is. It's even less straight forward over the last few years since they redistributed the lottery odds.

I would say it’s not smart. It brings a losing culture to your franchise. The players also never learn to win because they are constantly losing. We already have talent and future assets. Losing to get more is a gamble. We have Zion (honk honk) BI Val Naw Herb and TM. The goal should be develop the player and winning culture and mindset and see how far Zion pushed this team further.
