If I have a tendency, I will push a short putt.

I tend to play Flow Necks or Center-shafted putters.

A guy at PGA Superstore told me that I should use a double bend heel-shafted putter and that would help with the push.

Anyone has this issue or heard the heel-shaft helps this ?

Just go get a putter fitting and you can see the results with your own eyes. The numbers will tell you exactly what your path is doing. The fitter will place you in the right bend for your stroke.

lol into an Edel putter. Torque balanced is the concept. Love my e-4. I never push putts with it. I’ll tug one occasionally with it but that’s usually an alignment error on my part

If you're pushing your putts, you probably have a putter with a lot of toe hang. Do you use a blade? Putters with a lot of toe hang require more face rotation to square up the face at impact, therefore if you have more of a straight-back-straight through stroke, you're going to push a lot of putts with a toe hang putter. Sounds like you need more of a face balanced putter. Most mallet-style putters are more face balanced, most blade style putters are toe hang (but this isn't 100% the case).

2 suggestions-

Move the ball forward at address; or take the putter back a little straighter.

Do you forward press? If so, stop as it tends to open the face.

Or move the ball forward in your stance.
