At least she is not fat ,but yeah she does need to put on big girl clothes and stop trying to dress like a teenager.

If you read the story, it seems like she may have been too dressed up for him. It goes on and on about how he doesn't like her with makeup and was ok going to dinner with her dressed like that, but didn't want to go to this party with her dressed up. It's strange and doesn't make sense.
