My feeling by the way she answers some questions is that there may be some amount of rigging in her favor—-easy daily doubles go her way but not so for close competitors, e.g.—and the speed with which she gets the before and afters category— not to mention the caliber of the opponents (low) put into challenge her.
There is a political AGENDA at play, do not forget!

It is also a RATINGS play to have several longlasting champions to create persons well known to the public. Manipulations of questions, caliber of contestants, and even potential cheating can create the desired results.

Three long lasting champions since the new hosts replacing Alex came on…

I’ve watched Jeopardy religiously on a daily basis for 20+ years (nerdy, I know), but I definitely get the same feeling. A lot of these finals haven’t been obvious answers; she (he) has had to run across a question it didn’t know by now:
