Vaccine Protects Against Serious Illness. Children Are at No Risk For Serious Illness!

I know LDH and apparently Santa wants your children vaccinated but all the vaccines do (in their current state)is protect against getting a serious case of Covid (not my opinion POTUS said as much in his address).
Children (except maybe the ones who have other stuff wrong with them) have essentially no risk of serious illness, so they essentially get no added benefit from the vaccine (in its current state).
The vaccine in its current state is NOT even being advertised that it will prevent them from getting it or spreading it. Please someone explain to me how this is NOT a $$ grab and control exercise.
I feel like I’m taking crazy pills given the messages actually conflict each other when it comes to necessity of vaccination.

These same idiots racing to get their kids vaxxed have never been concerned about getting their kids a flu shot.

There are doing it bc they see the writing on the wall that their kid WILL BE prohibited from doing stuff if they are unvaccinated. Most households need to have options available for the kids due to childcare issues.

It was already established early on that vaccine was not guaranteed to prevent spread. The big mistake early on in this was not advocating for continued mask wearing and social distancing and sanitizing when things were opening up to complement the vaccines.

The first statement is BS. Social distancing does prevent spread but at some point that was a risk that needed to taken bc continued social distancing was not sustainable for a number of reasons. Mask wearing (except for the N95 type) does nothing.
Back to the topic, please tell me why requiring children to be vaccinated is not a $ grab and a control mechanism given the info available

This is actually 100% false. It was, and still is portrayed as an almost guaranteed method to prevent the spread. Of course, you knew that but you'd never admit it.

Omicron had literally NOTHING to do with unvaccinated in US. All data is showing that Omicron is extremely mild. The powers that be want you to think that it’s because of the vaccine but it very well could be because Omicron is similar to it’s cousin Corona virus otherwise known as the common cold.

Social distancing may not prevent spread, but could mitigate it. And there are health experts out there advocating for the N95 or KN95 masks for omicron. Cloth masks with several layers I believe are also supported as well. They believe that those masks are most effective against this variant.
