My source (an employee in the SEC Office) says it was allegations from Fla State, UF, and Alabama coaches against WW that are the basis for the so-called 11 allegations that WW offered improper benefits. He also said no money changed hands.

The question is this: does the NCAA have sworn testimony from the players that WW made offers or is it just reports from coaches.

Wade was on tape (due to a non LSU related investigation by the way) talking about offering a full scholarship with all the bells and whistles. The media, Dickie V. and yahoo ate it up and ran with it...

If I remember correctly, these NC State dudes took a significant amount of money from a shoe company and funneled it to players. All documented...

Just an observation and a guess. If an employee at the sec office was given access to the SEC allegations, florida state wouldn’t be on it. Schools outside the conference do not give information to other conferences. They just go to the ncaa. The other schools are high click bait guesses that will get a rise out of a fan base. I’m just sayin that is likely bad info. The SEC likes to handle things internally. Any sec school going outside of that would be unusual.

Kansas received level 1 allegations and gave their coach a raise and lifetime contract. The NCAA can’t enforce harsh violations for one school without enforcing for all.

they do it all the time

Forde and Dellenger have a new article out how it's the black assistant coach getting the fall.

They mention LSU so I can believe they will find a way to make something happen if we can keep winning. It is complete BS

I seem to remember reading that the alleged FBI tape could not be used unless it was introduced as evidence in the actual trial which didn’t occur. I hope that’s right because I think the NCAA’s whole case is the tape. I haven’t heard of anything else being mentioned.

That's right....because there is nothing else...and they have been here trying to find something else ever since.

And yeah the tape sounds bad....there's lot's of cussing and talks of vague "strong offers"....but the paper trail with Zion/Nike, the texts from Self with actual dollar value offers and on and on, those things aren't on a tape where you can hear them so I guess that don't move the needle - but are in fact actual tangible actions that you can make a case with.

Yet Forde and Dick dismiss those as insignificant....and go back to attacking WW. It's pathetic.
