I for one think Alabama has a very good team and has as good a chance to make it to the SECCG and NCG as OUR BELOVED LSU TIGERS.Being said,if and when Alabama loses I think you will here the media saying what a great job Saban has done with the talent he has(Shula recruits) and watch out when he has his players (Saban recruits). This is not a slight on Saban I think he's a great coach. It's what I predict the media saying following a Bama loss.A 180 on how they veiwed the reigning National Champion coach.Thoughts?

Bama fans are saying that it's the Saban recruited freshmen who are responsible for this team.

Nah, they will be talking about him going to the Raiders. All Davis will pay him $7 mil.

A few injuries can do them in. They don't have the depth of LSU...

Yesterday's news.

LSU is LSU --- the reigning National Champion.
Les is Les --- coach of the National Champion.
The media is coming around.

Saban is trying to restart the Bama program.
Maybe he will. Maybe he won't.
The media will say what it will say about him.
The LSU-Bama issue will be settled on the field every year.
Eventually Saban/Bama will win one.
One thing for sure though, a Saban/Jimbo coached LSU would not have won at Auburn this year.

Been saying that for awhile. As the season goes, Bama's biggest test won't just come from the teams they play but from injuries. They aren't that deep and a major injury or 2 or 3 could greatly affect their depth which will no doubt affect their ability to continue "the process."

Who cares about the Bama coach right now, let's talk about Florida.

Saban will be gone before the program hits it's peak. It's just his nature. He will get another NFL team or another college team that's been down for a little while a go and turn them around, just like LSU and eventually Bama.

I have this strange feeling that he's there for awhile. I really think he learned his lesson from leaving LSU. He really didn't want to leave and undoubtably wishes he hadn't. The lure of success in the NFL was great, but now it's gone. I think he'll be at Bama for the long haul.

I say we have a moratorium on Saban threads until one week before the Bama game.

Agree. I also think he'll always regret leaving LSU.

Gotta agree with you. Bama has very good first team talent, but a few key injuries could make a huge difference.
