Did anyone else think oh “just another Jefferson brother” after Jordan and Ricky? Having not watched him in high school I am definitely guilty of that thought. I had no idea just how great he would be. So who out of the young group of receivers comes closest to being our next Justin Jefferson?

Ricky was a solid safety. Jordans attitude is the only thing that bothered me. Of course im not inside the program either.

When Justin committed it made me realize the type of family they have and honestly appreciate Jordan a bit more.

It should have been very easy to convince Justin not to come to LSU after the hate JJ got here. It also showed that TD doesn’t represent the bulk of LSU fans and alumni. Lastly, it also showed that the players are able to put the fans complaints into perspective better than the fans can see things from a player’s perspective.

But I do think a lot has changed since Jordan was here with respect to the internet and the selfishness/instant gratification wants of people in general. So, I think TD has more influence now than back then.

I will say I think that family has done a lot of positive for LSU and I am thankful they are tigers. I do think Jordan was in a tough spot due to poor qb coaching and offensive coaching over his career here.

I really like the Jefferson family. They all loved LSU, and were all really good players, who contributed a lot to our success whenever they were here.

JJ beat Saban twice (who all can say that), Ricky was one of the many phenomenal DBs we’ve had, and Justin was a part of the lightning in a bottle for 2019, and one of the best receivers we’ve ever seen in an LSU uniform.

I think Jordan is his cousin? Maybe I’m wrong, don’t really know

I used to workout at a place in Nola where Jordan would take this scronny kid and I’d always wonder what the hell he’s doing at a random gym with a high schooler, didn’t know it was his cousin. talked a few times to him about lsu etc.

It’s crazy that small kid is now an nfl superstar. I wish it would’ve gotten an autograph

A lot of it is due the infatuation with the star importance that is placed on players.
Jordon’s biggest problem was Les Miles.

Go bump the thread on the recruiting board. Some people saw him in high school and said he was a diamond but others were typical rant tards looking at stars

The fact that you don’t really know that Justin is the youngest of the Jefferson brothers is amazing.

In 2011-2012 Jordan was not horrible against everyone who wasn’t Bama. He even helped us win in game of century. I’m not saying he was even as good as Jarrett Lee but he wasn’t bad. The national championship game and the rumor of possibly getting drunk night before game is why he gets the bad rap. If we beat Bama in the championship then everyone loves Jordan let’s be honest.

I thought Rickey played well for us.

As far as Justin went I didn’t know much about him. was just hoping he would be a good receiver. He ended up being a tiger legend and can be a future nfl HOF if he keeps up what he’s doing by a numbers standpoint.

He was actually a late add when we lost someone else. Like really late add. Thankfully wasn’t butt hurt and came to the good guys. 2019 wasn’t possible without him.

The apprehension against him really wasnt due to anything having to do with Rickey or Jordan and more to do with his lack of overall hype and stars. The WR haul that year didnt look great in the rankings so it didnt grab alot of attention. Mannie Netherly ended up getting the most hype and betwene him, Jefferson, Kirklin and McMath probably had the smallest impact.

Yes, over the years I have been sick and tired of the shite and the hate Jordan Jefferson received and still receives from morons on this board.

Despite having idiots for quarterback developers and offensive coaches, Jordan Jefferson beat Saban and Alabama twice. TWICE.

So you Jordan haters can put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Go re-read your own post.

And it’s scrawny not scronny, which isn’t even a word.

I think a lot of the hate is undeserved. Unfortunately thought he will always be remembered for how bad he played in the championship game and his quotes afterward about how he played great.

there were a couple of posters who said he had great work ethic and was a great route runner and that he would be the best of the jeffersons. maybe they were just guessing or maybe they had some insight.

Every time I think about The Jeffersons, it makes me want move on up to the Eastside.
Jordan Jefferson was much better than some of the fans give him credit.
Jarrett Lee was not any better than Jordan Jefferson.
