Which is a better hire? CBK or CJJ?

I love the Brian Kelly hire but I think I have to go with Jay Johnson on this one. Something about him just seems so genuine and competitive. What you think?

Both are winners.... hope you can handle lots of winning.

Jay Johnson definitely won the press conference between the two, that’s for sure.

I don’t know if you can really determine which one is a better hire per se, but I definitely think pulling Brian Kelly from Notre Dame was the bigger power move. I’m excited for both.

In my mind CJJ. He had people immediately transferring to LSU to play under him.

Neither have coached a game for LSU so I have no idea

And we aren't getting any football transfers?

There’s a bittt of a difference between Jay Johnson bringing in the #1 draft eligible player in Jacob Berry and Kelly bringing in transfers from non-P5 programs.

Jay johnson made the better hires.

C(coach’s initials) is the gayest thing in the history of the internet

we are, but CJJ got 3 Arizona kids to come to LSU within a few days of his hiring.

Revisit this in a year or 3 or 5. No one knows as of right now...it's all opinion.

Can we just say Kelly or Johnson?

I will say this before I go on. I think both coaches has the ability, and will hopefully, bring us multiple championships.
Record wise, Brian Kelly is the bigger hire. Someone of that magnitude doesn't leave their program for another. We know that. They have mentioned it numerous times. Honestly though, I think he retires before his 10 years is up. Especially if he wins a couple championships. Hell, he might win one in 2-4 years and retire immediately after that. I'm not saying he will, but at his age retirement isn't something to ignore.
Jay Johnson has the opportunity to build a dynasty again down here. He is younger, full of energy and spirit, and more hands on then we have had in our two previous baseball coaches (Smoke and Paul). With that being said, if he commits to LSU long term despite continued success bringing in offers from other programs, he can really be something special.
Results brings answers though, and I look forward to seeing all of our big 3 men's teams success in the future. We may really be entering into a true golden (championship) age for them. And that's not including women's basketball and gymnastics who I would bank money on a championship in the next 3 years.

Impossible question at this point.

He did, but he also didn't have Skip Bertman at a close rival school to deal with.
