Storing Outdoor Gear In Your Garage

I put a few Sam's 5 tier shelves and screwed them to the walls to keep them from falling. I have one for hunting gear and one for fishing/boating gear. They're pretty solid and can hold 800 lbs per shelf.

I got a 4x4 overhead shelf. I should get another one.

Thanks. It’s a really cheap way to organize them with scrap wood. And they look good now bc we recently finished building and I just put them up. May not look like that in a few yrs lol

The epoxy floor was a shitshow initially lol. Had to put 2 coats on it bc the first was absorbed so rapidly.

The pulleys are a huge space saver.

If needed, you can build a climate controlled inner room. Stud it up normally, and get an AC friend to get you some sheets of R4 duct board. Industry uses R6 so R4 is cheaper. Acme Refrig of Baton Rouge has it. Then put a cheap window unit in it. Sheets come 4 x 10, so you can plan your studding to accomadate 10 ft, sheets sideways.
It's all about humidity.
