Interviewing multiple candidates and making the right decision for a staff is more important for long term success than any other short term decision.....if you wanted the alternative, we should’ve kept O

I am just curious what went on behind the scenes to take this long to announce him since he's not in the playoffs. I really don't think it's taken this long just to interview everyone. I'm guessing they had someone else in mind and it didn't work out but who knows.

If he was the guy it would've happened already. Maybe he's more of a Tier B guy and they have their sites a little higher. Wouldn't be a bad hire though.

That would be my guess too but apparently you aren't allowed to ask those questions on here or somehow that means I wanted to keep O. 
Apparently the logic is it that it's completely normal to hire a non play off guy this late because "interviews".
I'm not mad at the hire if it's him just curious as to why it's not already announced if it is.
