I know there’s been a lot of speculation about whether he would sign early and just ask the school to hold off on the school he chooses to announce it or whether he would wait to sign. He was pretty adamant to me that he was going to wait. “You never know what is going to happen with coaches leaving or things like that, so I don’t want to get locked in and then see a bunch of changes.”
He said in school visit with Jimbo Fisher and Tyler Santucci went well on Wednesday. He said it was sort of funny that he didn’t know the Texas DC was also coming by that day. So A&M showed up while Texas was still there. It was in the coaches office and Jimbo and Santucci were in the corner while the Texas coach finished up his spiel.
Perkins says he is still looking at A&M, LSU and Texas. I still really like where A&M is. Jimbo and Sark have used their in-homes but Brian Kelly plans to wait until January. But either way, he is still announcing at the under Armour game on January 2. And the Aggies are in good position.
Bonus Perkins dunking clip

Hopefully he sticks to this (unless he signs with LSU, obviously). Smart to wait and see who our DC is, what happens with Baker and if Elko leaves A&M.

Are they, though? Hmmmm

They have a ton of talent coming into BCS this weekend with Perkins being one of them

Why didnt Elko go visit a 5* linebacker?

Thanks CC! I was just coming to do some research to see if I had missed anything on Perkins since it was rumored on here that CBK was going to visit yesterday.
UV for the Bonus! I feel like Perkins is a tipping point for this class. Could turn the momentum very positive if he comes to LSU.

Shea said this morning he’s had a bunch of chances to pull the trigger for A&M but hasn’t done it. Their mods feel good because they are being told to feel good. The longer this drags out, the better our chances get.

Bryan College Station I assume

I’m married to an Aggie so BCS is short for Bryan College Station

Elko was listed as a recruiter for Harold Perkins & Jacoby Matthews on 247.
Fun fact, Terry Joseph (former CBK CB coach currently at UT) is the recruiter for Perkins, Jacoby & Denver. Goulding is listed under all 3 as well.

They still have NIL. This isn’t like a losing Raymond situation.

NIL is simply legal pay for play, the traditional recruiting powers will still land studs based on relationships

Yeah I’ll be honest Aggies are killing it. They have the $. You see why Texas started their stuff. They have bigger donors.

You mean Walter Nolen, Shemar Stewart, and Evan Stewart aren’t going to A&M for expert coaching and winning football tradition?
