A head's up from your friendly neighborhood car salesman

ive noticed a lot of people on here talking about purchasing cars lately, the used truck market is pretty low right now in terms of values and there probably wont be a better time to purchase a used truck/suv for a while. if you are interested at all in getting a 1 year old low mileage truck/suv you need to consider buying in the very near future. on my lot i personally have a 2007 yukon denali with 30K miles, brand new list price is 60+ after discounts lets say 50k and you can buy this one at 28,800. big savings at this time guys.
just wanted to let you guys in on it and remember if you ever need any advice or help on the purchase of a car i have no problems helping out anyway i can.

My boss just bought a 6 month old Land Rover LR3 with under 3000 miles for less than $30k.

you know it sounds more like you are trying to drum up business for yourself on here by offering your help than just offering your help.

Not trying to shoot the messenger, but no Yukon Denali is worth 60K. They are nice. But for 50-60K, my money is on Toyota Landcruiser or Lexus equivalent, or other import, like Infiniti.

Of course the used truck market is good...
You may save money on the car, but gas?

What about a fully loaded 07 Trailblazer 4x4 with 30k miles?

well thats why they are so inexpensive right now, if gas was .80/gal the values would be sky high especially in La

Some people are going to drive a truck/SUV no matter what the price of gas is so it works out for us.

Why do you hate America? And IMO, the new Denali drives WAY better than a Landcruiser - keep in mind the new ones are $70K - the better comparison would be a Sequoia, which drives like shite. Infiniti? You mean the bloated QX56? If you want a boat, buy a SeaRay.

Times must be tough down at the neighborhood car lot...

Gas is going down thanks to the slowing global economy dampening demand for oil. Some predict prices going as low as $50 per barrel for oil, which would equal about $2.50/gallon of gasoline. US drivers didn't actually start changing their driving behavior until gas hit about $3.50.

nah, im doing just fine. not making as much as i used to but still making plenty. i just know there are a ton of misconceptions about car sales and salesman and want to demystify the process. i enjoy giving out advice on how to intelligently purhcase vehicles new or used

You
I get the feeling that people seriously overestimate the effect of the hiher gas prices, at least in terms of the cost of actually putting gas in your car.
