He’s been here a week longer than Billy Napier has been at Florida yet according to my twitter feed Napier looks to be in every high school and every recruit’s home in the South.
So? The OP said playoff games, of which there have been precisely 1 round since Kelly arrived.

Quick lesson on NCAA recruiting by-laws:

The NCAA allows the HC one day and only one day of off-campus contact with a prospective student athlete

13.1.2.6.2 Off-Campus Contact. [FBS] In bowl subdivision football, the head coach may make in-person, off-
campus contact with a prospective student-athlete or the prospective student-athlete's family members only during one

calendar day. It is permissible for this contact to occur both at the site of the prospective student-athlete's educational
institution and away from the institutional grounds. During such contact, the head coach may be accompanied by
assistant coaches, who otherwise are required to observe the restrictions contained in the bylaws. [D] (Revised: 1/10/92
effective 8/1/92, 8/5/04, 12/15/06, 4/25/18

Since we are in a contact period

13.02.7.1 Exception -- Football. [FBS/FCS] In football, any evaluation that occurs during a contact period by a
coaching staff member is a countable contact per Bylaw 13.02.4.1 rather than a countable evaluation. (Adopted: 1/10/95
effective 8/1/95)

The appearance by the HC at an athletic competition would constitute a contact, meaning the HC could not have further off-campus contact with athlete or athlete's family. This would apply to all seniors in said competition that the HC attends.

13.02.4 Contact. A contact is any face-to-face encounter between a prospective student-athlete or the prospective student-
athlete's family members and an institutional staff member or athletics representative during which any dialogue occurs in excess
of an exchange of a greeting. Any such face-to-face encounter that is prearranged (e.g., staff member takes a position in a
location where contact is possible) or that takes place on the grounds of the prospective student-athlete's educational institution
or at the site of organized competition or practice involving the prospective student-athlete or the prospective student-athlete's
high school, preparatory school, two-year college or all-star team shall be considered a contact, regardless of whether any
conversation occurs. However, an institutional staff member or athletics representative who is approached by a prospective
student-athlete or the prospective student-athlete's family members at any location shall not use a contact, provided the
encounter was not prearranged and the staff member or athletics representative does not engage in any dialogue in excess of a
greeting and takes appropriate steps to immediately terminate the encounter. (Revised: 1/11/94 effective 8/1/94, 4/25/18)
13.02.4.1 Evaluation Activities During Contact Period -- Football. [FBS/FCS] In football, a visit to a prospective
student-athlete's high school, preparatory school or two-year college, or an evaluation at any site that occurs during a
contact period shall constitute a contact (for all prospective student-athletes in that sport at the educational institution) for
that particular week even if no contact is made with a prospective student-athlete. (Adopted: 1/11/94 effective 8/1/94, Revised:
1/10/95 effective 8/1/95)

13.02.5 Periods of Recruiting Activities.
13.02.5.1 Contact Period. A contact period is a period of time when it is permissible for authorized athletics department
staff members to make in-person, off-campus recruiting contacts and evaluations.

What does this mean, a HC showing up at a football game will burn his 1 day of contact off-campus for all the seniors participating in said football game. Ergo no in-home visits allowable, even if no face to face communication takes place. It would also constitute the weekly allowable off-campus visit for the school's other eligible recruiters, of which six are allowed on a one per week basis.

It would be foolish for a HC to go to a play-off or other game during a contact period.
