My company sent an email this morning "PAUSING" the vax mandate citing the decision yesterday. However reporting your status remains in place, and rules for client sites remain in place.

There are people in the org I'm with possibly working on press releases..

I also very clearly stated that the opinion piece was from the religious leader of another faith and that it would not be in their best interest to use it for purposes of enforcing the mandate.
Didn't you have to go back and prove your religious exemption?
They backed down.

same here. with one little added tidbit. the email (from the contract supervisor on a huge contract) said "the smart people seem to think this will stick (citing the Georgia decision) and that excemptions no longer need to be pursued. which was the first bit of good news in a year!

I was one that held out too. I was feeling the heat with supervisors reminding me daily to get in compliance...my answer was I have time and won't be rushed. A few of my coworkers went ahead and got the Vax and are kicking themselves in the butt today. I hate it for them. I am thankful for the federal judges that over ruled the mandate, and I'm very pleased I stood my ground.
Why do you only have 1 upvote? Here's your 2nd and good work baw! This is how it's done.

They told us that we weren't required to vaccinate, but they recommend it.
Good luck to you!

I’ve been given a thirty day notice of termination .. twice.
And had it rescinded ... twice.
Now my religious exemption has been approved by my boss but no word from the LTC facility where I consult. So I’m still doing telemed from hone .. since March 11, 2020.

My company (healthcare/hospitals) was hiding behind the ‘CMS mandate’ to enforce it. Today, CEO sent out an email saying how happy he was that our company now has a policy to force the mandate and we can ignore the courts. His cheerleading of the forced shot makes me sick.
At least they extended the exemption timeline. I will apply and see what happens. I know someone that was approved, so I will follow that blueprint.

Good. Now you have some time to find another job with a company that wasn’t a completely spineless corporations who doesn’t really care about their employees civil liberties. Find another job and do something to frick them over. All is fair in new liberal war rules.

I'm sure there will be law suits.
Well Pfizer wasn't able to get their information barred for 55 years or whatever they were trying to do. All their secrets of how shitty the "vaccine" is are coming out now. Obviously now that companies will be liable for making their employees take poison they are removing the mandate in hopes they won't really be liable.

Mine was approved on Monday. However, our human resources did state it may be withdrawn if there is updated guidance published by the federal government.
The audacity of thinking that your religious beliefs will change because of “guidance published by the federal government.”
They granted the exemption based on your sincere religious beliefs precluding you from getting this vaccine. Those sincere religious beliefs don’t change because the government puts out a new memo.

My employer hasn't backed off yet, but based on the letter from Gov Abbott I reported them and sent in a copy of their current policy giving us to early Jan or be fired.
Tx also said they would be approving unemployment for folks fired for Vax refusal.

quote:same thing we did. They created a plan to meet the potential OSHA regs with options for weekly testing or exemptions, but stated it was only hinging on the court challenges being finalized one way or the other.
I think my company got cold feet and decided to wait and see what happened in the courts.

But the people who were fired were smart, independent thinkers, problem solvers, and overall the best and brightest.
The remainder are lemmings. Mediocrity to follow.
