I think he’d absolutely light shite up next year. I hate Max leaving, but Myles transferring instead of having a chance of a monster comeback season really freaking sucks. Wish him success wherever he goes, but damn I wish he’d stay put.

Brennan hung around LSU for 5 years. Why stay and have to compete again in the unknown. . If he did go to Southern Mississippi he will be the starter and I read that they have 2 pretty good wide receivers.

From a pure business standpoint, he'd be smart to consider it.

This absolutely opens the door back up to him being the starter. He'd be the odds on favorite.

Hell, is he healthy enough to play this bowl game? What else is he doing, if anything a big showing would give him more options. Or is he even eligible/taking classes this semester?

dude, life and sports don't work like that. You don't just show up after not playing games for that long and do well. Legends can't even do that.

Well a walk-on QB for Baylor just did it after their QB was injured the game before, and they won a conference championship against a pretty good Ok State defense.

Correction, former walk-on, but the point stands.

He hadn’t played.

He also actually practiced with the team all season. Unlike Brennan.

It's not like there is only a short week to get ready. He would have almost an entire month to get into shape and sling it around/get on the same page as the receivers. Very doable for a 22 year old.

He's not giving up a year of eligibility (and a Christmas break) to play one game for an old school and a new coaching staff.

Thought you had to play a certain amount to not be eligible for a medical RS? Like 4 games or something.
