I watched documentary on that a few months ago. Very crazy and mysterious story.

Just a recap of how the hijack unfolded, what his demeanor was, etc.

Wasn't he eaten by Rottweilers at a puppy farm?

According to Gary Larson he was.

He almost certainly died when he jumped. But because that is, by far, the most likely outcome, many don't believe it.

Or he was a man named Richard McCoy, who carried out another successful hijacking over Utah four months later and was subsequently killed in a shootout with FBI agents.

Where's his body and the money?

The pilot on the left looks like he may have eaten the money.

There are people known to have gotten lost in the woods in specific areas 50-60 years ago who’s remains have never been found.. if he got hung up in the tree canopy that makes it even more likely that his remains would not be found. Some of the money was found in a riverbed in that area years ago.

He jumped at night over a heavily wooded area, and the parachute he picked to use indicated he had no knowledge of parachutes. I have made a couple of hundred jumps, the odds I would have survived that are pretty close to zero.

This or he died after jumping. These are the most likely outcomes.
