It’s going to be the end of what we grew up enjoying about college football. It’s going to simply be a corporate NFL farm league with players flocking to the highest bidder.

How is this any different than what it is currently except the money is out in the open?

Not sure if you have noticed but the richest schools already get the best players.

Things change. “It’s going to be the end of what we grew up enjoying about college football” has been said over and over again, about the forward pass, for example. Or helmets with face masks. Or during integration. Or the advent of the BCS. Yet you’re still going to watch it next Fall and the one after that.
