You mean this guy couldn’t fix Kregg’s mess since June without even a single recruiting cycle. He MUST be a terrible coach.
Do some of you even understand football before you go spouting off ignorant takes?
Don’t underestimate that O was holding assts back. Magically, as soon as he was gone TDP suddenly became a better RB (was that OL “improvement”), the defense changed and became dominant (so do we blame O or Jones for the first part and who gets credit for the second half?). A big part of the supposed pass protection issues was actually not OL play but the fact that Max sits back there for hours just holding the ball. Was that Max not making quick decisions or Peet’s not calling plays that would get the ball out of Max’s hand quickly?
Football is way more complex than “well the OL sucked so it must be the fault of the OL coach who had less than half a season to work with a group that had suffered for years with poor recruiting, lost a starter to weed and suffered several injuries
