Someone apparently reached out and talked to him today where he said he doesn't have any interest coming back to coach college. Why you would just shut it down when you're an offensive analyst for the worst offensive in the NFL if you're actually interested is beyond me. Not to mention that the head coach will probably be fired anyway.

Something also to note is that he is still being paid by Texas to do nothing as of now. He might still be enjoying himself for the most part while doing whatever it is the Chicago Bears ask of him. Might like the no stress role a little longer.

As far as actual issues I have many friends that are Longhorn fans as I'm sadly sure some of y'all do too (Make sure to remind them that they gave Kansas their first conference road win since 2008 ) Many have said that he has burned bridges and connections all around Texas with high school coaches being one group. With Texas being such an important state for recruiting I don't know if it's the best idea for LSU to move that direction for such an important recruiting position as offensive coordinator.

So, maybe his buyout has the stipulation that if he coaches in college again, he no longer gets paid.

This name should never be floated to LSU. His personality would never mesh with BK. They'd get into fights on the sideline with no doubt BK winning after he decorates the walls of Death Valley with Herman's head.

Would love a Tom Herman hire at OC, but Kevin Wilson is my top choice.
