Springfield Echelon reviews?

Watched the Honest Outlaw review. He put it through hell along with the new Trijicon closed emitter optic. Does anyone on the board have one? I am thinking about selling my G45 and pulling the trigger on one of these. I really like the grip and features it comes with.

Nothing new or revolutionary but it seems to be a solid product. Plenty are complaining that it's another polymer striker-fired handgun in an already saturated niche but the more competition/choices the better.

Wow, nice youtube review. Best $600 pistol he's reviewed out of the box and went out of his way to remind everyone: He doesn't like Springfield Armory as a company. LOL

I won’t complain about another polymer 9mm although it’s not exciting to me. There are so many well made pistols it’s al just a matter of taste.

I have one. The only little gripe I have is the slide lock takes some getting used to operating because of the way it is designed.
It shoots fast and flat.
I am putting a Holosun EPS on it.

Well I have 2 on order. I put a low arse bid on one on GB 2 days ago for $530. Never thought I would win so I talked to Tony yesterday evening at Thompson creek and he has one on the way for me that has the 3 dot NS. Woke up this morning to find out I won the GB auction. The GB is the U notch rear sight. I will sell the one I get from GB. After fees taxes and transfer it’s $700.

If you watch more than one of his videos I think you'll find he's as fair as anybody. He wasn't crazy about the Hellcat if I remember correctly.

Picked up my first one Friday m Thompson Creek yesterday.
Pro’s so far
much better ergonomics than Glock. Stippling on gun is nice and aggressive but not like sandpaper aggressive.
The gas petal takedown lever is very functional in having a place to rest off hand.
The trigger is 4.5lbs and reset is short a very crisp. Should allow for quick follow up shots.
Put a TRL on it and it fits my P320 T Rex Ragnorok like a glove.
Cons
The Red Dot mounting pin set is a little quirky. It comes with 4 pin sets with RMR on the gun. I took the red dot cover off before I knew pins were in there and one hit the floor and took me 20 minutes to locate it.
Can’t find any 20 rd mags for sale.
The mag baseplates on the 17 rd mags are apparently an issue. Several YT videos showing them coming off and ammo dump on the range. I’m probably getting some aftermarket baseplates. Several companies already making them.

I must have missed it. What did Springfield do? Profess it's love for the FBI/DOJ?

Third party firm they hired donated money to Obama and D’s on SA behalf. As soon as it came to light they fired the company and apologized.

I picked one up during the tax free weekend. I have 200 rounds through it and I love it. The trigger is a dream as far as an out of the box striker fired polymer pistol goes. IMO, it's a Glock on steroids. A Glock that doesn't need any internal upgrades.
