Watched a doc last night about an Atlanta hood - HOLY shite

As I was watching this doc, I kept asking myself “is this shite real or fake?”
There is noway this shite is fake with how low budget this flick was
It is absolutely insane to me that this is America.
It’s also insane to me that these thugs have ZERO care about innocent lives
This documentary made Boyz in the Hood look like Disney World.
Would love to know y’all’s thoughts on this doc. It’s 1-1/2 hr of entertainment, shocking and just fricking crazy

Ever watch a documentary on Al Capone? Bugsy Malone? Jesse James? Bonnie and Clyde? This isn’t new. This has been America since before the Revolutionary war.

It might be a little fabricated but most of the events that happened in this film are the real deal and from what I have read, it’s one of the most realistic, everyday living in the hood.

I knew Blair witch was pretty fake but there is noway that a lot of the shot that happened in this film was fake. Zero chance it was all fake. Zero

FYI - the hoods in Atlanta only make up about 5% - 10% of the actual city. 80% of shootings/murders within the city of Atlanta are maintained within the hoods.
It’s unfortunate that the violence and shootings in the hoods give out the stereotype of the entire city proper (which is not the case) - outside of the hoods - Atlanta is still a somewhat safe major city

Them getting shot at driving their car with windows shattering seemd pretty realistic to me
Them shooting drive bys seemed pretty realistic to me
Their friends getting shot and killed with ATL Police crime scenes seemed pretty realistic to me
Thugs shooting guns in the air to celebrate that they just killed a homie and scored a lot of money/dope after a robbery seemed pretty realistic to me
