WH and DOJ conspiring to hide Biden documents = coverup = impeachment!

The White House and Justice Department (DOJ) reportedly agreed to hide President Joe Biden’s classified document scandal from the American people until it leaked to the press, despite their repeated claims of transparency.
Not only did the White House and DOJ try to obscure the scandal from public view, but they also refused to divulge that the second trove of classified documents were already unearthed at Biden’s home in Wilmington when CBS News first contacted the White House about the initial leak of classified documents apparently illegally stored at the Biden Penn Center, according to the Washington Post: “Early on, Biden’s attorneys and Justice Department investigators both thought they had a shared understanding about keeping the matter quiet,” the Post admitted, noting the Biden administration’s attempt to conceal revelations of the second trove of stashed documents.
If the GOP has any spine at all the House republicans will launch an all out investigation now and pass articles of impeachment against President Biden at the and AG Garland of the year. There is no way the Senate votes to convict either of them, but impeaching Biden will harm his reelection chances. Plus it's pay back for Trump's 1st impeachment, and covering up this is much more of an impeachable offense than asking Zelensky to look into the Biden corruption allegations.

Pains me to say it but...nothing will happen.

It's the right thing to do. It isn't about revenge.

I don't know. My cousin is one of Scalise's aides and she said that Scalise and McCarthy have discussed it. They are going to need more info and they have to find a way to link Biden personally and not just his attorneys. However if they can link it to Biden personally then all of the House republicans are ready to vote for impeaching Biden. She said it is a matter of when they impeach him and not if.
ETA: Of course they are the House republicans so they will probably fold and pass build back better and hope the democrats forget and play nice with them in the future.

Sometimes revenge is the right thing to do.

So much for the perception of DOJ independence

No. The only way to remove them is for the House of Representatives can vote to pass articles of impeachment against them, and 2/3rds of the Senate vote for conviction.

We'd be lucky if even 1/2 of the House voted to convict, which of course, wouldn't be enough.

The House votes to impeach not convict.
