Saw a pic on his IG, where it's him and Durham after committing today, Durham in an LSU hat and Simmons in a Tx hat, but both are throwing up the L....??

The only thing better than having Simmons commit to us today and actually maintain his commitment through signing day is to have him commit to texas today and flip on signing day. And then we would find out it was planned all along from his extended stay with BK a couple of weeks ago. I couldn’t imagine a more appropriate welcome for Texas to the SEC.
It’s a fantasy but it would be a hall of fame moment in the dirty world of recruiting.

He’s supporting his friend and teammate. He really liked LSU but UT made an offer that he couldn’t refuse. It’ll be interesting if he still takes his OV and if UT once again doesn’t live up to expectations.

UT had the bigger bag. It's not hard to understand a Texas HS player choosing UT over everybody. Likewise we need to keep our big 5* DL.
