I knew his ranking would drop, but I guess they need to evaluate him more this year. Still seems low.

We also have the #3 ranked 2024 class now & Khayree Lee isn't even ranked yet.

You would think younger players that are smart and top player of their class would not fall because they come out a year early.

The guy was a composite 5-star, reclassified, commits, and is now a low 4 star.

Unreal.

I get why they drop them. But it's not something like over 100 spots usually. If say they were 25 before, maybe they're 40 or 50 now in the new class. You're moving up in a older age bracket, so I can see why you would get dropped some...

This drop is just hilarious though for multiple reason. They've been saying the 2024 QB class is pretty weak, but yet a top 5-star level QB from 2025 class moves into it and is suddenly barely a Top 150 overall player is a primary one.

How? Is the 2025 QB class a total joke compared to 2024 or something?

It's too early to know what ranking he'll end up as. He's still got another year in HS to prove himself

Guess the state of Florida is packed with talent as well since he is ranked the 30th best player in the state now.

I don’t care about stars. The guy can not only sling it, he’s a proven winner and has a 4.0 gpa. Sign me up. Dude is all LSU too. He’s spitting fire on Twitter about our recruiting class. He’s all in.

True. But he is already the starting qb for the 4th best team in Florida and won state last season. What more can he do?

He’ll play his way to be a five star after next season

That’s only because the 2025 kids are ranked lower to be able to adjust ratings as they are evaluated. The #1 player in 2025 is only rated at a 93. That would put him in the mid 100 just like Colin. Be patient, his rating will rise.

It seems obvious to me they would drop. The kids in the 2023 class are a lot better than the kids in the 2024 class.
