You have seven more spots before you can start your portal acquisitions.
If it's me, I'm going to use one on Danny Lewis, who fills a need and might just be a sleeper.
After that, you need an offensive lineman. Armella is the most obvious guy and I like him better than Devon Campbell who might be too fat.
I like another linebacker, though I'm going to get one in the portal as well. I don't know who that would be.
I think you still need another DB even with Harris and Matthews coming. Not sure who that is either. You need a corner in the portal, so maybe you take a high school safety with some size who can go get the ball.
You're definitely short a defensive tackle. I wonder if they wouldn't look at that Baudoin kid from Ascension Catholic who was a hot recruit for a while and then disappeared.
That leaves two more.
With Palmer leaving you could use another receiver for depth. I'd like to see Kelly find a kid 6-4 or 6-5 who could give us a physical mismatch down the road, or at least somebody like a Racey McMath.
And then I'm looking for an edge rush guy, though we have good depth there. Maybe a kid who could fill out into another position like DT or even the offensive line. I don't really know that would be, but if there's a Bennie Logan hanging around somewhere, sign him up.
